ISO 9001 is a certification standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The ISO 9001 standard defines the requirements to establish a quality management system. These requirements are based on eight quality principles.

Companies certified by TÜV NORD experts, following an audit, are certified as complying with the minimum requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. The certification is valid for a period of 3 years. Within this period, an annual surveillance audit is conducted, and at the end of this period, a renewal audit is carried out.
